For most people, Monday is just another long start in a new week. I never fail to see people complaining about Mondays. 😉
I remember those days when I had to get up early to go to work. I did not like driving to work, or being at various meetings. Now, it is completely a different story. I still wake up early though, but there is a difference to waking up early and be fully fired up doing what I love.
I thought of sharing something interesting today. I see many people who continue to circle around the idea of starting an online business, but they never start one. I have seen people who are motivated to make money online but they never take action. I have gotten people who wanted to hire me to coach them, and I turned them down. You may be wondering why. I love helping people, but I cannot work with anyone who don’t even know what they want. The lack of clarity is the #1 factor that makes people fail in the online money making industry.
In fact some of these people are some of the smartest and brightest people I’ve seen. But they don’t want to commit and step outside their comfort zone. They read books, go to seminars, follow a lot of gurus/people online, and they still don’t know what to do. Not having clarity is the biggest obstacle to starting an online business.
Here is another important factor. People are afraid to becoming successful. You may be asking “Huh, whatl!?!” Yes, this is true! people want to be successful but they are afraid of success! Why? It’s because people are afraid of losing. If you have a lot of self doubts, and “what ifs” going through your head, you have to get over it. It’s not your fault if you often think like this. Our mind has been conditioned and programmed that way. I was once in your shoes too. I had a lot of “what ifs” and used my high paying job as cushion “if” things didn’t work out. This was killing me more than I wanted to admit then. When I viewed my business as a hobby, I didn’t get results.
I cleaned up the way I think, I worked on my inner self more, I worked with a coach and I invested into myself.
So here is my tip for you…realize that if you were to fail, you will be just one step closer to becoming successful. No one likes to fail or lose on purpose. The first step is to understand and accept that it’s okay to fail, because you will learn a valuable lesson along the way. Accept that failing is just part of the process to become successful.
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work“. – Thomas Alpha Edison
Once you get clarity in your mind, you need to focus on building a strong foundation to your business. Just like building a home, you can’t go straight to put up the roofs without a foundation. It’s just not possible!
People are looking for freedom. But the road to freedom is the much less traveled one. Isn’t that interesting? Just something to think about.
