Keep in mind that every traffic source is different. You determine good quality traffic through constant testing.  If you are not testing and tweaking your campaigns, you are leaving a lot of money on the table. Determine if your landing pages performing well, split testing your landing pages to maximize your results. With that being said, there is a learning curve to PPC. I suggest start with small budget and test your results.

SEO on the other hand is like long term investment. You are essentially going to be bringing a lot of natural leads or clicks to your website by ranking high in the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. You will need to learn how to do SEO the right way, follow the SEO best practices and be vigilant when Google algorithms changes takes place. You can also outsource the SEO factor to people who provide SEO services. Bear in mind that it can take months, and in some cases up to a year or more to reach up to the first page of Google for natural results. But the result is well worth the investment.

So which method is better? It comes down to your time and budget. If you want traffic fast and have money to invest into PPC, PPC is a good option for you. If you don’t have a lot of money to invest into paid traffic, but you have time, then you probably want to put all your effort into doing SEO the right way.

 2) Do I have the time and patience for long term results?

If you know anything about long term savings and long term investment, SEO is similar to that. Running an SEO campaign and building backlinks can be daunting for some people. It requires ultimate patience because you won’t see results right way. It can take months before your content start showing up in search engines. One thing you want to consider is how competitive your keywords are.  You can check on how competitive is the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for the keywords you intend to use by entering your keywords to Google keywords tool, or keyword tools like Long Tail Pro. These tools will tell you how competitive your keywords are. It also provide you monthly local and global search for those particular keywords.   I can tell you that content marketing is evergreen. So if you have the time, I highly suggest you seriously look into doing more SEO for your websites. Remember this can be outsourced too.

  • Ongoing effort. Link building is important. What you need is relevant pages linking back to your website. This will help you very much in your SEO campaigns.  As oppose to PPC.
  • The biggest benefit from SEO is you will get highly targeted and high quality leads coming to your website for long time to come. Follow best practices and avoid blackhat methods.
  • Slow Results.

I would start with the questions above and see what makes the most sense for your business. Personally, I prefer to do both as they can be powerful when combined together. So, if you have the money to invest, I would do both to get immediate result, and invest on your long term results.

How To Mobile Marketing

It is a given, whether you sell products online or not, that a solid internet presence is essential. Yet believe it or not, studies show that at least 46% of small businesses don’t have a website – a crazy statistic but unfortunately true.  But in today’s “on-the-go world” the reality is that a just having a traditional website alone is not enough. Websites that are made for laptop and PC viewing are simply not going to work on mobile devices. Consumers expect mobile-ready sites and will find something else if they are not mobile optimized.

How to Mobile Marketing

This question: “how to mobile marketing exactly?”comes up often. Many people are still confused when it comes to implementing mobile marketing strategy. The very first thing that you need to do is to make sure that your website is mobile friendly, or better yet, you need to create a stand alone mobile website. And you need to make sure that your site is cross-platform compatible. For example, a common beginner mistake is not taking into account that Flash doesn’t work on all platforms. Your mobile website shouldn’t be a duplicate of your regular website. Mobile versions should provide the key information in a format that is quick, easy and accessible. They should be “just the facts” – use less text and no long articles (which is a key strategy for traditional websites). Remember, they’re viewing your site on a small screen. Give users the option to view mobile or full version of your site– and let them choose what they need. If viewers like what they see and want to read more, they will save you in their favorites and check out your full website when they get to their bigger monitor.

Mobile Marketing Starts With a Mobile Compatible Website.

Yes, creating a mobile website will require a little bit of extra work, but in the end it will definitely be worth it. Let’s take a look at some of the advantages and benefits that a mobile ready website can offer:

  • Mobile websites are accessible from anywhere as long as the person has an internet capable mobile device.
  • Done correctly, mobile websites are optimized for smart phones, so that they load faster and work well on smaller screens.
  • Mobile sites are SEO friendly which results in good rankings on search engines such as Google. Like traditional websites, they can be registered in online directories so your audience can find you easily.
  • Mobile websites allow customers to use Geo-location apps that identify nearby businesses, making you easier to find and leading to better chances of making a sale.
  • Mobile websites bridge the gap between online and offline advertising. By using Quick Release Codes (QR codes – those funny little squares you see popping up all over the place) in marketing materials, in print advertising campaigns or on product packaging, you can lead potential customers directly to your mobile website where they can learn more about you and register for on-going newsletters.
  • Mobile websites help companies build their brand identity and stand out from their competition. By having a mobile website, your target audience can find you when they are actively looking for what they need – and are typically ready to make a purchase.
  • A mobile website can be developed so that it acts like a mobile app, which makes it a more practical alternative than an actual app because mobile websites are cheaper and easier to maintain and more customer accessible.
  • Mobile websites are a symbol of today’s fast paced world and having a mobile website puts your business ahead of your competition that doesn’t have one.

Now that we have clearly demonstrated why your business requires a mobile website, let’s turn to the practical side of things – how to get one set up. There are several options for how you can set up your mobile website. In order of preference they are:

1 .   Going Mobile by Installing a Responsive Website

2 .   Going Mobile by Creating a Mobile Ready Website

3 .   Going Mobile by Adapting Your Existing Website

4.    If you are creating a mobile capture page, then you need to sign up with services like Auto Recruiting Platform that allows you to collect your leads mobile number for SMS campaigns.

The term “responsive website” is used to describe websites that are specifically designed for needs of mobile viewers. These sites provide an optimal viewing experience by offering things such as easy reading and navigation with a minimum amount of resizing, zooming/panning or scrolling and are viewable across a wide range of devices (from smart phones, to tablets and even on desktop monitors).

Because of the way the code is written, responsive websites “respond to their environment” – the platform that they are running on. Whether a user opens your site on his laptop, his blackberry, his ipad or his preferred smartphone, the site will “know” what the platform is, and will adapt to provide the best user experience for it.  What this means is that you will have one single website that serves double-duty – it will work both on a when people are using the internet through “traditional means” and when they are accessing it on their mobile devices – whatever one they are using.

How to Mobile Marketing

If you are building your first website from scratch, it really makes sense to create a site that will meet all of your needs. With a responsive website, your clients and customers will be able to easily access and navigate your site whether they are at home, on an iPad or tablet, or on their smartphones. When your website is responsive and mobile-ready, that means your presence will look great everywhere.

And what’s great about creating Responsive Websites today is that you don’t have to know a stitch of code to do it!

There are many different options available for creating a Responsive Website, but one of the simplest is to utilize the WordPress option that is available through a wide variety of hosting companies.

Why Mobile Marketing Is Effective

Businesses that are taking advantage of this new world of mobile marketing are seeing growth, capturing market share and experiencing great financial benefits.   By making mobile a central part of their marketing strategy, these savvy businesses benefit from being able to find and engage the new breed of “constantly connected consumer.”

Why Mobile Marketing is Effective

According to the Small Business Mobile Survey conducted by

  • 84% of the US small business owners surveyed who put a mobile marketing strategy in place reported that they saw a rise in new business activity as a direct result.
  • 69% believe that mobile marketing will be a key factor to their future business growth over the next 5 years.
  • 64% of the 500 business owners surveyed stated that they plan to increase their mobile marketing efforts.
  • Among the main reasons that the business owners reported for using mobile marketing included: providing better service to their existing clients and customers, attracting new local customers and to improve their competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Do you still need some more proof that it’s worth your time and effort to implement a mobile marketing strategy? Keep reading … 😉

Let’s take a look at some more facts before I move on to showing you what you need to get your mobile presence started…

  • The average American spends 2 hours a day on his mobile device. Source
  • By 2015 mobile marketing will generate $400 billion in revenue. Source
  • SMS coupons are redeemed 8% more than emailed coupons. Source
  • Mobile advertising will account for 60% of Twitter ads by 2015. Source
  • 40% of users that scan a QR code will buy the product. Source
  • 28% of mobile users buy an item without checking it out in a store. Source
  • 52% of mobile users use their devices while in a store to get help with purchasing decisions Source
  • 52% of mobile users check the prices of an item online they wish to buy. Source
  • 70% of all mobile searches result in an action within an hour. Source
  • 47% of mobile users are more likely to read reviews online for the product. Source
  • 44% of mobile users ages 18 to 34 have used a mobile device to search for a coupon. Source

As you can see, there is clear cut evidence that mobile marketing can be a powerful addition to your business promotion toolbox. But besides the easy access, what exactly is it that makes mobile strategies so powerful as compared to other methods?

Why Mobile Marketing Is Effective

Mobile marketing works incredibly well because it engages people in activities that they are already doing, at the time that they need the information, and where they want it. If someone is out enjoying their day and suddenly decides that they want to find a new place to go for lunch, they simply take out their mobile device and conduct a search. A customer who is out shopping has access to a wide variety of tools and apps that can help them make sure that they are getting the best value for their money. With mobile marketing, gone are the days where customers have to cut out and carry scraps of paper in their pockets (unless of course they are extreme couponers, but that’s another whole topic entirely). Now people can access online coupons, store loyalty cards and QR codes for quick savings – all in one place! This is why mobile marketing is effective.  You may have already realized that there are a lot of targeted ads in the applications you are using in your mobile devices too. I don’t see mobile marketing slowing down.

Another thing that makes mobile strategies so effective is that it taps in to one of the most powerful forms of marketing – word of mouth. With today’s technologies, when a person wants to make a recommendation or share information about a product that they love, it’s as simple as clicking a Facebook like, sharing a picture on pinterest, checking in at Foursquare, posting a tweet, writing a Yelp review or sending out a link to a YouTube video. There are so many reasons why mobile marketing is effective.  All of these online strategies are designed to go viral – to be sent from person to person, ad infinitum, depending upon the network of connections.

When you have an optimized mobile presence, your happy customers can literally spread the word right at the time when they are in the best frame of mind – when it is happening. And this type of promotion is the best kind there is. Studies show that word of mouth recommendations can generate as much as 65% of new business from referrals, without it costing you a single penny!

Hopefully you are starting to see why mobile marketing is effective for any business. In the next post I will cover more on how to get your website mobile ready.

How To YouTube Marketing

How To YouTube Marketing

Here is the Webinar Replay to “How To YouTube Marketing” that Matt and I hosted earlier tonight. If you are not doing YouTube Video Marketing for your business, you are leaving a lot of money on the table. We covered the basics of Video Marketing and quick tips on how to make your first video easily.

Here are some quick tips to “How To YouTube Marketing” the easy way

1) Brainstorm for ideas for topics or products that already have massive momentum behind them.

2) Research what keywords you want to use. Just like blogging you want to put a little bit of thoughts and research into your videos.

3) Create your video.  Make sure it is formatted into .mp4 (smaller in size and easier to stream for people with slower internet connections). Make sure to name your video with your keywords.  For example, if you were going to write a review on iPhone 6 , your video should be written with something like this format: iphone-6-review.mp4 before you upload to your video to your channel.

4) Description. Start with your Link at the top, followed by good description filled with good content and make sure it is keyword rich. Make sure to have relevant tags to your video.

5) Enable caption. Not many people utilize this, but this is Google literally transcribing your video into text. This is yet another important factor to ranking your video.

6) Use Annotations for Active calls to action – to lead them to check out your website. Keep in mind you cannot use annotations to lead people to your website, but you can use annotations to get people’s attention for the next step.

7) Embed your video to your blog – This is another signal that YouTube gets for your video to get better rankings. This is the reason why blog+videos combination is so powerful.

8) Blast backlinks to your YouTube Video.

9) Comment on other people’s videos.

If you have been thinking to create a video and get involved in video marketing, there is no reason not do it now. You have these How To YouTube Marketing quick tips laid out in front of you. If you want to see more “how to youtube marketing” tutorials in depth, click here to check out my 10 Days bootcamp series where I virtually take you by the hands to create a full time living from the comfort of your own home.

I am going to share a little insight into my business now. I made nice profits from small affiliates websites and mini niche websites. It was fun when I started doing it, but I hated it after a while. Then I found my sweet spot in 2010, I made a good living off a single business model: Dropshipping. I never had to do videos. You can say I was in my “comfort zone”.  After several years of doing the same business,  I wanted to expand my online business and automate the process. This was the time I realized something needed to be done.  This way I could have more time freedom with my family, and to eventually do more international charity trips.

I am going to tell you right now that you won’t be great at creating videos overnight.  If you have seen my videos or attended any of my webinars, you would have noticed the difference. Heck, I still stutter and sometimes still lost in train of thoughts especially with a little one around. On top of that I have an accent and I used to constantly worry that people may have a hard time understanding me through my videos or webinars.  I was constantly worried of being judged.  Until my mentor smacked me in the head (well he did not really do that but that was how I felt!), and told me:

Get out of your comfort zone if you want to be in the top 1% income club“.

I realized then that there was no way I could please everyone and I had to do what needed to be done.  I pushed myself beyond my comfort zone. Everyday I challenge myself to be better.  The more I do it, the more natural I become. I have faith that you can do the same.

I hope these tips have been helpful to you, leave a comment below. 😉

What is the green room trading

There has been a lot of hypes and talks about The Green Room lately. My husband decided to join the Green Room as he had been interested in Currency Trading. So I am going to cover what it is and what it is not. We will go through the pros and cons.

What is the Green Room Trading?

It is a binary trading/Forex program created by professional traders to help newbies and advanced traders. It is a place where the expert traders help people make money with binary trading. The leaders would give you trading signals when the time is good to “buy”. The simplicity makes it so anyone regardless their level of trading experience can come in, and start making money.  It is a done for you trading.  Additionally, affiliates can get some commission each time they refer someone to the Green Room. There are a number of Internet Marketers and Network Marketers in this room as well.

What is Binary Trading?

If you are not familiar with Binary Trading, you basically make money by predicting global currencies. Read more about Binary Trading in Wiki. The ultimate goal is to predict whether the market price for a certain global currencies will go up or down by your “chosen” time frame. The expiration time can be set anywhere from sixty seconds to half an hour (typical). Look at the image below:

Binary Trading Currency

It is by far one of the easiest and fastest ways to make money in the financial markets. If you are a beginner or an expert looking to add another stream of income, binary trading is a positive way to diversify your income FAST.

These sounds good! Are there cons?

1) If the idea of sitting in front of the computer waiting for a signal to be called turns you off,  then this may not be for you. These guys do this for a full time living. They do all the readings and predictions.

2) Patience is key. If you don’t have much patience in general, this is not a good opportunity for you.  These guys are looking for certain patterns, they study the market intensively.  Often you will hear them say something like “Get setup  for this currency“, but the next thing they would say “No trade on that one“. And of course, if you want to have a career as a trader, you will also need to learn from the best. Even if you simply want to add another stream of income, you still need to be patient.

3) Expect to lose some money in the process. You can expect to see over 10 wins and 3 losses in a day. Let’s be real here, the risk of losing is always there. While the Green Room has a great leadership and risk management team, it does not discount the fact that you still need to learn to trade smart. Never risk everything you have in your account.

4) This is also not for you if you want to gamble and do your own thing. After all you are trading with the professionals. Trading is a form of business after all.  You will need to be accountable for your own action. By joining the Green Room Trading , you will know learn and know exactly what to avoid, and be a smart trader.

What else do you need?

You will need to sign up with a broker associated with the Green Room and deposit a minimum of $250 to start trading (Goptions, Redwood, etc).  The membership is $100 per month. A small fee compare to what you are getting, you can perpetually be in profit within the first 24 hours like everyone else. If you already have an existing account with your broker, that is perfectly fine. The pro traders generally do 10-15 trades a day, it can be more or less. Other than that, just be present by calling in.  Be ready to press a button when they give you a signal to buy. The final decision is still yours if you decide to not buy.

How to join?

Anyone can now join the Green Room and even get free trial to see how it works.  You can only join someone who are already in the Green Room itself. This room is growing FAST, they have high success rate. If you are interested in joining, click here and test drive the program for free.

Final words…

So now that you know what is the green room trading all about, is it worth joining? If your goal is to double your ROI, then this is absolutely a good opportunity to do so with the right leaders. If you can push a button at the right time, give it a shot and see what happens. They are the first in the industry. As with anything, once you join, make sure you follow the Green Room rules. My tip to you, trade responsibly.

This post will be updated regularly to reflect the current status of the Green Room. Hope this review has been of help to you. Leave a comment below.
