Don’t let circumstances determine your outcome

The past two weeks have been quite interesting for me. Non stop challenges and my email auto responder was down for a full week. Then it went down again in the middle of a campaign last week. Because of that, I spent five hundred dollars on advertising without results because the server went down right in the middle of the campaigns.

Most people complain when they don’t see results after investing $20 in a system or a business that can potentially give them financial freedom. My $500 went down the drain but I did not get upset. 😉 Don’t get me wrong, I sighed when things like this happen, but there are things you can control and things you can’t control. But you know what I did? I laughed it off and continued to move forward.

Why am I telling you this? Because that is how life is. In business, relationship, money, family, you will be faced with non stop challenges. It comes to one thing: how you handle these situation that matters. I was a global project manager before I left my job in early 2010. I was under constant pressure to make things happen, to make sure everything was working smoothly. With that said, you can say I was once a control freak, I would literally be freaked out and stressed out when work got out of control.

I learned to let go of circumstances the hard way. I learned in business there are always going to be things beyond my control. I learned in life that things can go out of control anytime.

I learned that I had to stop letting circumstances determine my outcome.

Let that sink…

Most people live their lives with excuses and play the blame game.

It’s happening…everyday!

I see people complaining about the government, the president, the job market, etc.

Complaining won’t get you anywhere. As a matter of fact, you will continue to feel worse each day.

I attended T Harv Eker’s signature seminar last weekend (if you don’t know who he is, he is the author of best seller “Millionaire Mind” book). Every once in a while I get out and go to live events to continue to expand my horizon and connect with like minded individuals. In the seminar they taught that building a business is the only way you can save more and build a brighter future and build YOUR DREAM. There has never been a time to change your future, to become financially free than now.

People use excuses all the time. They think others are smarter or had more money when they started started.

When I started I had no clue how online marketing worked. I had no clue what I was getting into. I sucked at writing, I had no friggin idea how to write and let alone connect to my readers like I do now. I felt like I was climbing Mount Everest and could fall anytime. I took a HUGE risk!

But…I didn’t make any excuses. I learned that business is a skill. You learn it and apply it. I spent every free moment studying and learning how successful people did it. I still do now too. Do you define growing as going from childhood to teenage-hood to adulthood, and stops there? Wrong! Here’s the thing, the moment you stop growing, you’re dying inside.

If your desire to WIN is big enough you will figure out a way to make your dream come true.

I fully believe everyone can change their future when they make a decision to do whatever it takes

Do you know that there are 2 “R’s” you can have in this life?  You cannot have both though. Would you like to know what those Rs are?
