Quick SEO Tips
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is still the key for long term growth of your blog/websites. Articles and Videos rank top priority in this era. In fact Video SEOs are easier to do than articles SEO now. But here are some tips on why you want to invest in SEO as part of your business growth plan.
When writing content for your blog or website, you need to make sure that your content provides “solution” to your readers. The moment people get online and type in the big search box on the search engine like Google, they are looking for specific information. Whatever you write must be relevant to what they are looking for. This is why keyword research is really important when it comes to SEO. You want to make sure that your content is original. The end results will bring you the best incoming natural backlinks to your website. This simply means, people like your content and would automatically link to your website. Google loves this.
You want to make sure that your title is original, and keywords are included in your posts. You want to build internal links on your posts, this is called internal deep linking. If you are to use anchor text, be sure the clickable texts are based on keywords. Consider updating your content on a daily basis, and add relevant pictures or videos to your post. These elements will also help you with your SEO ranking.
Link building is part of your SEO effort. But many people mistakenly think that the more backlinks the better it would be for their websites. This is dead wrong! Quality over quantity at any given time. If you had just one high quality backlink (say from .edu or .gov) , this is way more valuable than one hundred poor backlinks. So always consider the kind of quality backlink you are getting. Social media backlinks and sharing is a big factor as well, this is another reason why you should have your social media sharing widgets configured for readers to share with others.
Lastly, make sure your page is easy to navigate. I see many bloggers who go with fancy flash graphics, and everything look cluttered. While this may be fun to the blogger, generally speaking this won’t be a pleasant experience for a reader or a visitor. Keep it simple.
